This marble meditating Buddha statue was created by Relong Factory from natural white marble. Seated peacefully on a double lotus pedestal, the Buddha holds both hands in the Dhyana Mudra, presenting a calm composition associated with meditation, concentration, and inner balance. The design is suitable for meditation gardens, temples, wellness centers, resorts, villas, and other quiet indoor or outdoor spaces.

A Peaceful Meditation Pose

The defining feature of this Buddha statue is its composed seated posture. Both legs are crossed naturally above the lotus base, while the hands rest gently in the lap with the palms facing upward. This position is commonly known as the Dhyana Mudra, or meditation gesture.

The upright body, relaxed shoulders, lowered eyes, and restrained facial expression create a quiet sense of concentration. Details Shaped by Hand

Relong sculptors carved the statue by hand in our marble workshop. During production, they repeatedly adjusted the proportions and refined the surface to ensure that the figure looked natural from the front and sides. Particular attention was given to the Buddha’s gently closed eyes, softly shaped lips, elongated earlobes, individually defined hair curls, and carefully proportioned hands. The robe follows the seated body in clean, flowing lines, with deeper folds around the legs adding depth to the white stone.

The double-layer lotus pedestal is also fully carved rather than treated as a plain base. Its evenly arranged petals support the Buddha visually and reinforce the symmetry of the composition.

Natural White Marble with a Sacred Appearance

We selected natural white marble because its clean color complements the spiritual character of the Buddha. The pale surface reflects light softly, making the facial expression, robe folds, hands, and lotus petals clearly visible.

After carving and finishing, the marble develops a smooth and refined appearance. Its white tone gives the statue a sense of purity and dignity while remaining easy to coordinate with greenery, water features, and modern interiors.
